History and service record of 337E and 437E
- 2022 model-year changes. For the 2022 model year Deere redesigned the front windows on the 337E and 437E knuckleboom loaders, removed the external mesh guards and gave the machines a new hood profile that improves visibility behind them. - Knuckleboom loaders. The 337E and 437E are John Deere E-series knuckleboom loaders; Deere announced improvements for the 2019 model year with better fuel economy, and 2022 model-year versions followed. - Built on a Tier 4 Final engine. A catalog listing for the 437E gives a 6068 HTJ57 PowerTech PVS engine at 129 kW (173 hp) at 2,000 rpm, a tandem variable-displacement hydraulic system with pilot levers, a 9.76 m (32 ft) knuckleboom reach and 52,032 Nm of swing torque. 437E Knuckleboom Loader catalog, John Deere Forestry.
- Less wiring to fail. Deere says simplified wiring on these loaders cuts fuses, relays and wires by about 30 percent, with onboard diagnostics reachable through JDLink and Connected Support for remote diagnosis. 437E Knuckleboom Loader catalog, John Deere Forestry.
- Easier daily service. Fuel and DEF fill points and swing-out cooler doors sit within reach of the operator's platform, a battery-operated vacuum pump helps with servicing, and hydraulic oil filter intervals are extended. 337E Knuckleboom Loader, John Deere US via Murphy Tractor.
