TractorData lists the Argotron L 710 and L 730 for 2010 to 2013 as Agrotron L series row-crop tractors with a Deutz 7.1 L six-cylinder, following the L 720 of 2008 to 2010, with Deutz-Fahr listed as part of SAME.   • 2012 first drive of the L730. Farmers Weekly's first drive of the 2012 Agrotron L730, a model that predates the 2018 L 710 to L 730 range on this page, said the tractor had a 7.1-litre Deutz common rail engine that kicks out 213hp as standard with power boost taking it to 220hp, and that the six-cylinder produces maximum torque at 1,600rpm, with 50kph coming at 1770 rpm.   • Transmission on the first L730. Farmers Weekly described the L730 gearbox as Deutz's first full powershift for nine years, built with help from transmission specialist ZF, with nine creeper gears and two 12-speed powershift ranges (work and transport), a work range that extends from 2-19kph, and three modes: Manual, Auto 1 and Auto 2.   • Cab and I-Monitor. Farmers Weekly wrote that the L730 cab is almost identical to that on the TTV models, with a six-post design and side-opening windows, a sound level of 72dB quoted by Deutz, and Deutz's own I-Monitor on-board computer with an Isobus connection so implement data can be displayed on the screen. Farmers Weekly hooked the L730 to a five-board Kverneland plough on 4 April 2012 with a 1t front weight, noted the 10t rear lift as built for serious tillage work, found the transmission jerky in automatic mode on the road and easiest to use in manual in the field, and summed the tractor up as a solid tillage tractor with plenty of power and lift for the money.
