Distinguish PC60-7 serial scope from the PC60-7B brochure

The PC60-7 and PC75-1 records should not inherit equipment from a similarly named PC60-7B automatically. Komatsu's YEAM200300 operation-manual cover identifies PC60-7 serials DBK0001 upward and PC60-7B serials DBKB001 upward separately. That is a useful starting point when an advertisement supplies a model name but omits its serial prefix.

The visible product-information pages place the machine serial plate at the bottom right of the operator's cab and the engine serial plate on the upper side of the cylinder-head cover. They place the service meter on the machine monitor. Photographing these identifiers during an inspection helps keep a replacement-parts request tied to the actual machine, rather than to the nearest online listing.

These locations concern this manual's stated machines; they are not an identification guide for the PC75-1.

Main-pump flow is different from auxiliary flow

The PC60-7B manufacturer brochure describes HydrauMind closed load-sensing hydraulics with pressure-compensated valves. Its specifications separately state 155 litres per minute maximum main-pump flow and 120 litres per minute auxiliary flow. Choosing an attachment from the larger number would confuse the pump entry with the circuit offered to the attachment.

The same brochure identifies a 4D95LE-2 engine and provides separate operating-weight conditions with and without a blade. Those details should remain attached to the B-edition document. They do not by themselves justify overwriting the retained PC60-7 entry's different engine description or assigning the PC60-7B lift chart to a PC75-1.

Komatsu's 95-Series shop manual provides another explicitly scoped reference: its fuel-system drawing names a 4D95L-1 arrangement for PC60-7 and PC70-7, with automatic air bleeding. It identifies the priming pump, feed pump, fuel filter and overflow valve as separate parts of that circuit. Match the installed engine to that drawing before using it to identify a fuel-system component.

The drawing is not evidence that the PC75-1 uses the same circuit, or that a catalogue engine label without its suffix is sufficient for ordering an injection-system part.
