Kubota KX41-3S and 3V: track width, hydraulic circuits and lift conditions

KX41-3S and KX41-3V have different undercarriages

Kubota's European booklet reserves hydraulic track-width adjustment for the V model. The S and V share the family name, but the V can retract for a restricted passage and expand for work. A narrow transport photograph should not be treated as proof that the machine is ready to dig in that position.

The operator's manual directs the adjustable-track machine to work at its full standard width. It also distinguishes the selector for track-width adjustment from the blade function. After changing the track width, the selector returns to the dozer position.

A control that moves the wrong component needs its selector position established first.

The hydraulic revision explains combined boom movement

Kubota's mechanism manual describes an interflow section that brings additional pump flow to the boom when the boom pilot signal is present. The machine therefore does not use an identical flow path for every single and combined movement. A complaint about boom movement during another operation needs that combination recorded.

The same description links the unload section to the safety lever. In the unload position, the first main-pump flows return to the tank circuit. The published mechanism explains why a raised lock lever and an internal pump fault are different possibilities; it does not justify bypassing an interlock.

The manual also distinguishes European S/V straight-travel equipment from other regional arrangements. Verify the regional machine identity before applying a circuit drawing. A shared engine designation does not establish every valve and control on the excavator.

The lifting chart excludes the equipment hanging from the arm

The brochure's lifting notes exclude the bucket, hook, sling and other lifting accessories from the tabulated capacity. Those weights remain part of the actual lift. Its front and side columns also distinguish blade position, load radius and lifting-point height.

The largest cell is not a load limit for every position around the excavator.

The working-range drawing assumes the standard bucket without a quick coupler. An added coupler changes the attachment arrangement used for that drawing. Keep those conditions with a reach or clearance comparison instead of treating the KX41 family name as a complete lifting specification.
