Bobcat A770: all-wheel steering, load ratings and brochure editions
A770 steering changes how the loader turns
The A770 offers a choice between all-wheel steering and skid steering. In the all-wheel mode, the wheels steer through the turn; in skid mode, the machine uses the maneuvering behavior associated with a conventional skid-steer loader. Bobcat presents the choice as a way to balance surface disturbance against maneuverability.
It does not make the loader immune to marking every surface.
The M2-series table gives the A770 a vertical lift path. It separately lists the bucket's rated operating capacity and the tipping load, with the latter larger. Neither entry is an angle.
A lifting-height figure also belongs to the bucket hinge pin, not the roof of the cab or the highest point of a raised attachment.
The brochure's standard auxiliary flow and optional high-flow output are separate equipment choices. Identify the fitted circuit before matching an attachment. Engine power does not by itself establish which flow package is installed.

Earlier European A770 equipment has different engine and flow details
The November 2012 European 770-family booklet identifies a Kubota engine and gives the A770 its own column alongside S770 and T770. The tracked T770's suspension and track equipment do not belong to the wheeled A770. A feature appearing on a shared brochure page needs its model heading checked.
That edition's high-flow value differs from the later American M2 table. Its promotional page also prints a pressure figure that conflicts with the quick-coupler pressure range in the specification table. Keep the actual circuit rating and publication with an attachment quotation; do not combine the highest values from different paragraphs.
The rear tailgate and transverse engine provide one-side routine access, while tilting the cab exposes hydraulic components. The sight gauge checks reservoir level. A hydraulic-system volume in the same booklet covers a different boundary from that reservoir alone.

Turning radius and AWS radius are separate entries
Bobcat's non-current T4 product page labels the all-wheel-steer radius separately from the ordinary turning radius. An AWS value must not be presented as a measurement to the machine's rear. The same page distinguishes low travel speed from the faster travel setting and lists high flow separately from standard flow.
Its current archived hinge-pin and maximum-height-reach figures differ slightly from the M2 booklet. Check the serial-specific manual and attachment configuration before using either as a clearance guarantee. BICS, the seat bar and the listed operator restraints remain required equipment; steering-mode selection is not a substitute for their normal operation.
