S590 vertical lift and auxiliary equipment serve different decisions

The S590 is a vertical-lift loader, but lifting geometry, rated capacity and attachment supply must still be checked separately. Bobcat's interim Tier4 record, regional leaflet and M3 brochure describe different configurations under the same model name. Match the offered machine to its publication before judging a difference as a missing feature or incorrect rating.

Use full-height placement when assessing the S590 lift path

The M3 brochure assigns the S590 a vertical lift path and explains its reach advantage at full height for high-sided truck bodies and hoppers. Evaluate that placement position during a loading demonstration. A radius-lift comparison made only at an intermediate height misses the reason for choosing this arm arrangement.

The regional leaflet makes high-flow supply optional

Bobcat's S590 leaflet separates the ordinary auxiliary pump capacity from the high-flow option. It also lists SJC, two-speed travel and Power Bob-Tach as options. Those are independent equipment questions.

A joystick-equipped loader does not, on that evidence alone, establish the high-flow package needed by a particular attachment.

The leaflet identifies a Kubota V2607 interim-emissions engine and distinguishes operating weight from shipping weight without a bucket. Ask which weight a transport quote uses and whether the attachment is included. A lighter shipping figure cannot be treated as the ready-to-work machine's mass.

The earlier US record also separates its equipment choices

Bobcat's archived S590 IT4 record identifies optional joystick controls, high flow, cab enclosure, air conditioning and two-speed travel. It lists the interlock, lift-arm support and engine-shutdown feature separately as standard. Verify the fitted optional equipment from the machine and its records; the presence of standard protection equipment does not identify the optional operating package.

The archived record's rated operating capacity differs from the later source record retained in this reference. Preserve the publication scope instead of averaging the two numbers or applying one version's counterweight allowance to the other. The model name without its configuration cannot resolve that distinction.

Bucket width is not the machine's bucket-equipped length

The regional dimensional drawing gives different measurements for overall length with the bucket and bucket width. The earlier standard-bucket entry below repeated a length figure. The corrected width is separately sourced, with the earlier quantity retained as a rejected field entry so the two measurements remain distinguishable.
