CASE CX300E, CX350D and CX500D: fronts and controls

CX300E controls add a lifting mode rather than copying the D-Series selector

CASE's European CX300E brochure separates the selected work mode from the throttle setting. Power replaces the D-Series Heavy and Automatic selections; Eco and Lifting add different operating choices. Lifting keeps power boost active and includes an overload warning.

It still requires the appropriate lifting chart.

The monitor can store attachment names alongside flow and pressure settings. That is useful when checking which tool a saved preset actually describes. The optional Steelwrist preparation also includes control and electrical equipment; an attachment name on the display does not prove that provision is installed.

The CX300E LC and NLC tables use different undercarriage widths. Keep the chassis designation with any transport-width or lifting-capacity claim. A photograph showing a long arm is not enough to choose the correct chart.

CX350D reach and arm force depend on the arm column

CASE's CX350D sheet publishes three arm lengths against the same standard boom. The longer arm reaches farther but has a lower arm-digging-force entry than the short arm. A sales listing that combines maximum depth with maximum arm force may therefore describe no single configuration.

The sheet distinguishes ordinary digging force from automatic-power-boost force. Its operating-weight note also specifies shoes, bucket and counterweight. Compare those notes before assuming that a heavier advertised machine has a structural upgrade.

Auxiliary-pump presets and control wiring appear in the standard list, while several complete auxiliary hydraulic arrangements appear as options. Before hiring a tool, identify the installed single-acting, double-acting or multifunction circuit. A programmable attachment menu alone does not establish the valve and pipework.

CX500D mass excavation uses its own front and undercarriage tables

The CX500D sheet identifies a mass-excavation boom and short arm. Its bucket-force figures distinguish normal operation from power boost; neither number establishes the payload permitted in a bucket or suspended from a lifting point.

CASE publishes fixed and retractable undercarriage dimensions separately. The retractable arrangement changes transport width, height, operating weight and the digging envelope. Obtain the actual sideframe arrangement before quoting a low-loader movement.

A retracted width is not the extended working-width entry.

The engine table also gives separate net outputs with the fan pump activated. That condition belongs beside the power rating. For hydraulics, CASE explicitly lists both per-pump delivery and the combined total, so the larger total should not be described as one pump's output.
