The H and H2 loader specifications need their complete suffix

The 906H, 907H and 908H brochure AEHQ6069 identifies a Cat C3.4 engine meeting Tier 3 requirements. Its 908H has a different net-power rating from the smaller H models. That makes an engine specification copied from the 906H an unsuitable description of the whole group, even where the transmission’s advertised travel-speed choices look similar.

The H brochure also separates straight tipping load, full-turn tipping load, hydraulic lift capacity and rated operating load. Its fork ratings distinguish firm level ground from rough terrain and specify a load center; its bucket ratings use a different loading condition. A seller’s largest lifting number cannot be treated as the pallet load permitted through a turn.

For material handling, identify the actual forks, coupler and operating condition and use their corresponding rating. The published machine weights likewise include stated fuel, operator, cab and work-tool assumptions rather than every possible attachment.

The H2 brochure AEHQ6842 describes the C3.3B DIT engine meeting Tier 4 Interim requirements. Its optional transmission-control package combines creeper, rimpull adjustment and hand throttle. These controls address different tasks: creeper varies travel speed while a powered attachment keeps working, hand throttle fixes engine speed, and rimpull adjustment limits available traction.

Inching through the brake pedal does not by itself demonstrate that the loader has that optional package.

H2 ride control and the speeder transmission are separately listed options. The brochure recommends ride control with the faster travel package, rather than declaring it fitted to every H2. Its high-flow hydraulics and additional work-tool wiring are also equipment choices.

Before selecting a snowblower, planer or powered broom, check the auxiliary supply and controls as well as whether the attachment physically fits the skid-steer-style coupler. The H2 information belongs to the H2 models; it does not establish an engine or control upgrade on an older 906H or 908H.
