Hitachi ZX135US-6 specifications
Distinguish the ZX135US-6 attachment circuit from the joystick handle
A roller on the joystick does not establish that electronic thumb control is installed. In an owner’s ZX135-6 discussion, a reply first suggested the enabling rocker beneath the armrest. The owner had no rocker and asked the dealer about a kit.
The later update identified missing control-valve solenoid equipment; the shop declined the upgrade and left the machine unchanged.
That account ends with an equipment limitation, not a successful software setting or a repaired joystick. An advertisement showing the roller should therefore be followed by a demonstration of the installed auxiliary function. It does not establish that every ZX135US-6 has the same missing part, and the thread’s participants also discuss other models.

A separate attachment-setting discussion initially produced conflicting advice about mechanical and electronic relief adjustment. The owner then compared the machine’s serial number with the procedure being read, inspected the valve and reported that it lacked the electronic solenoids. The final update says the mechanical adjustment was completed.
The useful distinction is between the control hardware and the menu selection. That thread does not make its settings a universal thumb-installation procedure. The attachment’s permitted pressure and the exact excavator equipment still have to match.
A later question about a different Hitachi model does not extend the original repair result to that machine.

Hitachi’s European brochure separates monoblock and two-piece booms, each with several arm lengths. Identical arm lengths do not produce identical digging envelopes across those boom choices. Its lifting charts also require bucket and quick-hitch weights to be subtracted from the stated capacity.
Check the boom drawing and lifting-chart conditions together.

A bucket cylinder’s long stroke is not its rod diameter. The same brochure separates main-pump delivery from the smaller pilot supply and describes a Final Tier 4 engine using DOC and SCR aftertreatment without a diesel particulate filter.
A particulate-filter regeneration procedure would address equipment this specification does not list.
