ZX75US-3 arm choice changes the usable bucket

The Japanese ZX75US-3 brochure gives the short arm a different attachment envelope from the long arm. Its standard 1.62 m arm accepts the listed 0.33 m³ digging bucket. The 2.12 m arm does not.

Even the reinforced 0.28 m³ bucket changes from general excavation on the short arm to light excavation only on the long arm. More reach does not preserve the same bucket permission.

The blade also deserves attention before purchase. Hitachi's Japanese option schedule marks the welded-edge blade as unavailable for later installation. A bare machine and a blade-equipped machine are therefore different buying propositions in that catalog; the option list does not promise a retrofit.

The same schedule separates attachment basic piping from additional parts needed by the chosen tool. A valve port alone does not establish a complete breaker installation.

The Dash-3 monitor and swing circuit

Hitachi's international ZX75US-3 document identifies a swing-independent three-pump arrangement. Its engine-speed sensing control and the cushions in the boom and arm cylinders are separate features: the cushions act at stroke ends, while the pump control responds to engine speed. These details matter when comparing smooth combined movements with an abrupt stop at full cylinder travel.

The color monitor displays coolant temperature, fuel level and maintenance information. An optional rear camera can feed that screen. Camera capability does not mean the camera is installed.

The brochure also provides attachment adjustment and day/night display settings; those are useful items to demonstrate from the cab instead of assuming that every machine has the same selected setup.

The North American ZX85USB-3 lifting schedule assumes a 12 ft 2 in boom, a 0.37 yd³ bucket and a firm, uniform supporting surface. Its load includes the hook and cables. Rigging consumes capacity.

Hitachi distinguishes hydraulic-limited entries from stability-limited entries and caps the ratings at 87% of hydraulic capacity or 75% of tipping weight. A bucket digging-force figure cannot replace that lifting schedule, and the ZX75US chart cannot stand in for the ZX85USB chart.
