CSX7060 and CSX7080: separate threshing adjustment from hillside equipment

New Holland's CSX7000 brochure distinguishes Opti-Thresh from Multi-Thresh. Opti-Thresh moves the rear part of the drum concave to change the rubbing action on the crop. Multi-Thresh adjusts the concave at the Rotary Separator. A seller demonstrating one handle has not demonstrated both adjustments; record which part of the crop path was changed.

The brochure's equipment key also distinguishes standard and optional separator installations across the range. Read the particular model column and inspect the fitted separator and Straw Flow beater. The general four-drum description is not enough to establish the equipment on every advertised CSX.

Smart Sieve controls sideways movement of the pre-sieve and upper sieve. Laterale identifies a separate machine-levelling arrangement. Their different percentage descriptions do not define one universal safe operating slope.

The original comparison's self-levelling entry should therefore retain the system it describes, while the operating manual and site conditions govern use.

The standard and Laterale weight rows exclude the header and straw chopper. A comparison with the TX68's historical attachment-free entry needs the actual installed equipment identified before transport or axle loading is planned. A matching overall length does not establish equal equipped mass.

TX68 belt enquiries need the driven component, not only the model name

Abilene Machine's replacement-parts catalogue gives separate TX66/TX68 belt applications. Its TX68 alternator-and-air-conditioning entry and TX66 intermediate-shaft entry use the same listed replacement number in different diagram positions. An invoice that records only a belt number loses the location needed to understand what was replaced.

The same page separately identifies drum variator, feeder, rotary separator, straw-flow beater, straw-walker and unloading-auger drives. A repair described as a separator belt could refer to different parts of that drive train. Ask for the component and diagram position when estimating the work.

Those are the aftermarket manufacturer's applications. The catalogue expressly distinguishes its replacements from OEM-manufactured or OEM-approved parts. Its list is useful for identifying an enquiry, rather than proving universal fitment across serial ranges.

The CS and TX columns remain separate historical configurations

Keep their existing dated quantities with their original source identities while matching a particular machine to its own documentation.
