SAME model reference

The Explorer 90/100/110 StageIIIA brochure distinguishes transmission and PTO arrangements and lists a 540/540ECO/1000/1000ECO PTO configuration. These are shaft-speed choices and operating modes, not four engine-power ratings or proof that every Explorer has the same equipment.

Explorer PTO options need an engine and market match

Identify the model’s full designation, market, emissions version, transmission and fitted PTO before selecting an implement. Keep a historical Explorer 80 and orchard Frutteto with their own period and configuration; the later Explorer package does not describe them.

Use the specified shaft speed

A 1000 rpm shaft turns about 1.85 times as fast as a 540 rpm shaft. That comparison describes speed only. It does not authorize running a 540 rpm implement at 1000 rpm or prove that an economy mode supplies the required power.

For PTO work, compare output at the required shaft operating point; for carried implements, use the actual lift geometry and configured mass. Keep link-end lift, a stated rearward test point and loader capacity separate. The individual model citations below identify the source configuration rather than a universal SAME setting.
