Landini model reference
The July 2014 Landini Series 4 brochure lists the optional 57 L/min hitch-pump and 32 L/min steering-pump arrangement for its 4-090, 4-100 and 4-105 configurations. Treat the circuits as separate supplies: their combined flow is not proof that a powered implement receives the sum at its couplers.
Series 4 separates steering and implement hydraulics
Check the complete tractor designation, pump option, transmission and installed valves when choosing an implement. A Rex orchard version, Mistral compact tractor and Landpower field tractor do not share one hydraulic or dimensional specification merely through the Landini name.
Keep the power definition with the number
The historical Landpower records distinguish net and gross output. Compare like test bases and operating points; do not select whichever number is larger.
A permitted maximum mass, an unballasted mass and a cab/ROPS weight range serve different purposes. Establish the actual tractor, tires, ballast, loader and carried tools before planning a move or comparing axle loads.
Read Series 4 against the brochure edition and engine identity
The July 2014 manufacturer brochure is identified as 6523359M1. Its technical table includes 4-060, 4-070, 4-075, 4-080, 4-090, 4-100 and 4-105. The dated records below retain that edition separately from the other Landini records.
A shared Series 4 name does not establish identical engines, dimensions or options across later product revisions.
The 4-075 is a useful reason to check the complete designation. This table gives it a Perkins 1104D-44 with 4400 cm³ displacement and a Tier 3 label. The neighboring 4-060, 4-070 and 4-080 use Deutz engines listed at 2900 cm³ and Tier 4 Final.
The 4-090, 4-100 and 4-105 have Deutz engines at 3600 cm³ with the brochure's Tier 4i designation.
Those are descriptions in the historical brochure, not an independent certification of a machine offered in the United States. Use the actual engine label and records to identify its certification. Engine, filter and service-part selection requires the installed engine identity; a nearby model number in the same family is insufficient evidence.
Identify the installed engine and the applicable product documentation first.
Maximum and rated ISO power are different rows
The technical table separates maximum power from rated engine power. For the 4-070 it prints 69.5 HP/51 kW maximum and 68 HP/50 kW rated; for the 4-105 it prints 107 HP/78.5 kW maximum and 101 HP/74.4 kW rated. The power pairs below preserve the brochure's HP and kW labels rather than silently treating every HP label as another measurement standard.
Keep the power definition beside a comparison. Neither row is a PTO-output measurement, and an engine-power figure cannot independently establish that a particular implement is suitable. A purchase comparison should retain the engine identity, output definition and fitted equipment rather than selecting whichever published number is larger.
Distinguish ordinary hydraulic supply from the high-capacity option
The standard hitch-plus-steering entries are 49+28 L/min on the first four models in this table, and 44+32 L/min on the larger three. The higher-capacity option is separately shown as 57+32 L/min for the 4-090, 4-100 and 4-105. The table identifies the hitch and steering quantities separately; their sum is not a published promise of flow through one attachment outlet.
The remote-valve line lists 2/3 as the standard/optional arrangement. An implement assessment still needs the actual fitted valves, control functions and circuit requirements. The existence of a high-capacity option in a brochure is not proof that a used tractor has it.
Ask for the machine-specific configuration instead of assigning the optional figure to every Series 4 tractor.
For a hydraulic attachment, retain its required supply, return and any drain arrangements with the tractor's applicable circuit information. The pump entry is one input to that check. Physical connection, hydraulic capability and the permitted carried combination remain separate decisions; matching a connector cannot establish the other requirements.
Read lift equipment as a configuration choice
The listed standard rear lift capacity is 2700 kg. Assist-cylinder entries differ: the smaller models have 3400 kg with one cylinder, while the larger models show 3900 kg with two. The optional front hitch/PTO entry of 1750 kg appears on the larger three.
These are the document's own capacity labels; do not relabel them as a different lift point or assume optional hardware is fitted.
Inspect the actual linkage and identify its equipment before comparing it with those rows. A capacity from another version or from a front-hitch entry does not describe every rear-linkage condition. Keep the implement weight, installation and tractor instructions together when deciding whether the proposed combination is suitable.
Transmission, PTO and dimensions need the fitted version
The brochure distinguishes transmission arrangements as well as tractor models. Its table includes a synchro-shuttle/creeper 2WD arrangement and other Speed Four and Power Four combinations. The recorded transmission descriptions below retain those conditions rather than combining all the listed gears into a single standard transmission.
The actual controls and installed equipment determine which arrangement the owner has.
The PTO table marks 540/540E as standard and 540/1000 as an option. Economy and ordinary shaft-speed selections are different operating arrangements. Identify the fitted PTO and follow its instructions; a brochure option is not a setting that can be assumed to exist on every tractor bearing the same family name.
Wheelbase is 2100 mm for the first four table columns and 2230 mm for the larger three. Height and ground clearance are published as ranges, while the table separately identifies maximum length with ballast weights and total weights without ballast. Retain those qualifiers rather than calling all of the entries shipping dimensions or fully equipped operating mass.
For a gate or transport check, measure and document the actual machine, tires, ballast and attachment arrangement. Minimum width in a brochure does not guarantee that a particular used tractor is set to that width. A cab height range also does not establish clearance beneath a specific doorway until the fitted configuration and the opening are known.
Use the dated manufacturer records to resolve a precise parts, fitment or comparison question. Keep later models and other Landini families in their own documented configurations. The point of comparing the Series 4 columns is to expose real differences within a named family, not to make a family badge stand in for the machine's identification and installed equipment.
