ECR88D short swing. Volvo introduced the ECR88D as a compact short swing radius excavator, saying it lets crews work closer to obstacles in road construction, utilities and landscaping, and that it has a 16 percent improvement in tractive force over the previous model. EC60E cab. Volvo describes the new and improved EC60E as having a larger cab design for a more comfortable and productive operator environment, built to the same standard of durability as its other machines. EC60E excavator, Volvo Construction Equipment.
EC60E redesign over the previous series. Volvo's EC60E brochure says the new cab has 10 percent more space, more glazing and lower noise, and that the machine has a 10 percent gain in traction, swing force and lifting capacity, with a Stage IIIB / Tier 4 final engine rated 57 hp. Work response modes and auto shutdown. The EC60E operator can pick Active, Normal or Soft response modes, set auxiliary flow and dozer and boom-offset speeds, and use an auto engine shutdown that stops the engine after a preselected idle time. ECR88D short swing radius. Volvo describes the ECR88D as a compact short swing radius excavator of 8.6 to 10.0 t and 58 hp with a Tier 4f / Stage V engine whose exhaust aftertreatment regenerates without interrupting work, and says tractive force is up 16 percent over the previous model.
