History and service record of 995
- Launch. Caterpillar launched the 995 in early 2025 as its largest wheel loader, replacing the 994K. A Zeppelin Mining product manager quoted in the report puts the gains at up to five tons more bucket load, about 19 percent more productivity and roughly 8 percent better fuel efficiency with the new Eco Mode.
