John Deere 450D LC to 800C specifications

Separate digging geometry from the transport package

The 450D LC table combines an arm-dependent working range with a separately defined operating-weight package. Deere's brochure gives the shorter arm its own digging-depth column, but the stated operating weight uses the longer arm, a named bucket, counterweight and wide shoes. Those facts can both be correct without describing the same fitted configuration.

The manufacturer also offers a mass-excavating boom, which has a different reach envelope from the ordinary boom even when an arm length matches. Ask for the boom and arm identities together when checking a trench or truck-loading requirement. Matching only the arm's nominal length leaves out a part of the geometry that changes the result.

The 450D hydraulic sheet separates implement, travel and swing pressures from power boost, and identifies a separate pilot pump. Its auxiliary hydraulic package is described as dealer-installed. A main-pump maximum therefore cannot establish that a used machine already has an attachment circuit set up for a particular tool.

The 600C and 800C use different weight and shoe conditions

Deere's combined C-Series sheet gives the 600C LC an operating-weight package with triple semi-grouser shoes, while the 800C package uses double semi-grousers. Their shared nominal shoe width does not make those track packages identical. Ground-pressure rows must stay with the relevant shoe construction and model.

The C-Series lift information also separates front from side lifting and identifies capacities limited by hydraulics differently from capacities limited by stability. The rating assumes the specified supporting surface and includes lifting accessories in the total load. Check the chart's load radius and attachment conditions rather than choosing a load from engine horsepower or operating weight alone.

Its service capacities distinguish the hydraulic tank from other gearboxes, including the pump-drive and swing-drive compartments. A quantity transcribed for one of those compartments is not a total-fluid figure for the excavator. That distinction matters when planning a fluid purchase or interpreting a service record that names only a general hydraulic service.

A 650D mass-excavating front has its own force figures

The 650D LC publication separates the ordinary boom with several arm choices from a shorter mass-excavating boom and arm. Its operating table marks digging forces and the stated front lift comparison as power-boost figures. A standard-front reach, a mass-excavating force and an unqualified continuous-pressure figure must not be combined into an imaginary configuration.

Identify the actual front before selecting from those columns.
