Krupp KMK11000: assembly, chart and driveline

The carrier, boom transporter and heavy-lift chart

The KMK11000 carrier combines a six-axle tractor, bolted pedestal and four-axle rear section. Its separate boom transporter has nine axles and its own lifting-and-sliding assembly equipment. The transporter's engine specification does not identify the carrier engine.

Krupp's drawing gives different width and length envelopes for the two vehicles. A route survey needs both. Its reduced outrigger setting also requires the matching operating instructions.

The two 51 m load-chart columns use different telescope sections. Equal boom length does not identify the same chart. Capacities include the hook block and auxiliary equipment; the headline maximum additionally needs the listed heavy-duty arrangement.

Use the machine's approved chart for its actual assembly.

Identify the CLBT 6061 installation before ordering parts

The Allison designation matters when inspecting this crane’s driveline. Allison’s original CL(B)T 5000–6000 publication separates straight-through transmissions from transfer-gear models; the transfer gearing belongs to the 5000 series. It also distinguishes remote mounting from direct engine mounting.

A family designation alone cannot identify the installed flanges, mounting supports or oil circuit.

Electric shift was optional in that publication. Its control combines a shift tower, wiring harness and valve body, with a downshift inhibitor in the tower. A mechanical linkage and an electric harness are therefore different inspection subjects.

Look at the installed control before requesting a shift component.

The family’s oil-capacity table excludes the external circuit, and its cooler is supplied by the equipment manufacturer. An Allison transmission-only refill figure cannot establish the crane’s complete drained quantity. Record the transmission identification and cooler arrangement before choosing service information.

The publication likewise offers different torque converters and lockup arrangements. Those choices describe the transmission family; they do not prove which converter or control package Krupp fitted. Match the unit and its documentation before applying a family-level specification.
