Link-Belt L130 specifications

Fine, Standard and Heavy alter the L130's hydraulic response

The original LBX-L130 manual locates the F1 work-mode button beside the steering column. Fine gives slower, smoother response; Standard occupies the middle setting; Heavy responds more aggressively. Compare a demonstration in the same selected mode.

A difference in joystick response is not, by itself, evidence of a different pump or engine rating.

The service-tool pages distinguish an open proportional-valve circuit from a missing sensor signal. A lifting-circuit open fault directs attention to its valve wiring, while a lift-angle timeout means the controller has received no lift-arm sensor signal. The crowd-angle signal comes from the bell crank.

Record the displayed fault before replacing hydraulic components.

The air-conditioning section gives another useful distinction: the belt-driven pulley can rotate with the compressor disengaged. A magnetic clutch connects the compressor when commanded. Seeing the pulley turn therefore does not prove that the compressor is working.

The manual separates clutch power, belt condition, pressure-switch and refrigerant-loss checks; those are different branches of diagnosis.

The L130 filter application is not the smaller L120's

Baldwin's application catalog places the L130 under loaders with the Cummins 6BTA5.9 engine. Its lube-filter entry matches the L125, whereas the smaller L120 appears with a different engine and lube filter. A filter kit advertised simply for Link-Belt wheel loaders can therefore cover the wrong application.

Use the loader and engine identification together when checking that kit. The catalog's shared lube entry does not establish that all fuel, hydraulic or air filters interchange between the L125 and L130. It is a component application, not a complete service-parts equivalence.

A documented L130 with a hydraulic coupler

Ritchie Bros.' Quebec event catalog identifies a particular L130 with an enclosed cab, air conditioning and a hydraulic coupler. The bucket and tire dimensions in the record below belong to that serial-numbered unit. They show why an advertised machine's attachment arrangement needs checking separately from a reference specification.

The catalog did not supply an hour reading for that lot. No reading is not evidence of low use. Its emissions-label year also differs from the auction's model-year description; retain both identities when requesting records, rather than silently substituting one year for the other.

This archived listing establishes equipment details, not a current asking price or availability.
