P-Tier updates. John Deere says the P-Tier updates build on the proven G-series design, and that new features now included on the 210, 250 and 300 P-Tier excavators can improve fuel economy by up to 7 percent. 250 P-Tier mid-size excavator, John Deere Canada.
Front joint durability. Deere says the P-Tier's new top hat bushing, hardened pin and two-sided mud and dirt seals have proven as much as double the joint life when digging in sandy conditions, and that the new bushing design is serviceable, reducing the need for costly line boring. 250 P-Tier mid-size excavator, John Deere Canada.
