Sources: 3 forum discussions about the John Deere 690 excavators (690D LC, 690E LC); heavyequipmentforums.com.- Throttle stuck, final drive leak and jerky travel. A 690E whose throttle stuck in the I setting after sitting (a reply said to fix low battery voltage first), a 690D LC leaking at the final drive where a reply said a failed motor shaft seal overfills the final drive and blows out the duo-cone seal, and a 1997 690E LC whose track levers were oversensitive and jerky from the day it was bought.
