Deere 110 TLB: auxiliary circuits, filters and serial breaks

Front, tractor-rear and backhoe auxiliary circuits are different options

Deere's June2002 110TLB product booklet distinguishes the three-pump total from flow delivered to the loader and backhoe. The total cannot be assumed available at one attachment outlet. Identify the required circuit before comparing a tool's flow requirement.

Factory code7020 provides the loader's third hydraulic function. Code7030 adds the tractor's rear outlets as well, but those outlets do not provide the backhoe's auxiliary function; that requires code8220. A machine with rear tractor couplers is therefore not necessarily equipped to run a hydraulically powered backhoe attachment.

The rear-outlet arrangement also distinguishes continuous flow from switched flow. Only its top outlet set supports both. Photograph the coupler positions and controls, and demonstrate the intended attachment function, before treating “auxiliary hydraulics” as a complete equipment description.

Fluid quantity has another boundary: the booklet lists transmission-case-and-filter capacity separately from the combined transmission/hydraulic system. A complete-system figure is not the quantity necessarily drained during a case-and-filter service.

Deere's maintenance-parts sheet separates the earlier air-cleaner elements from the later element at the stated serial break. It also changes the fuel-filter listing and muffler assembly across that break. A parts quotation based only on “110TLB” can therefore select a component from the other arrangement.

Record the machine serial number and compare the installed assembly.

The fan-belt entries distinguish the alternator installations too. Deere lists a different belt for the higher-output alternator, despite that belt having the shorter printed length. Do not choose a belt solely because it looks close to the removed one.

Identify the alternator installation and match the listed belt application.

The sheet names transmission-oil filtration separately from the HST power-steering filter, including a spin-on entry. Those are different service items. Its diagram is useful for identifying the parts being discussed, but a filter's presence in the list does not establish that a previous owner replaced it.

Ask for the service record and the current manual matching the machine before selecting fluids or intervals.
